Family Heart Learning Center Summer Multiplication Workshop

Family Heart Learning Center presents an 8-week twice a week summer program where your soon-to-be 3rd grader or older student can get an introduction or a refresher course on the world's most "beloved" mathematic foundations.

Each session will provide an explanation of the topic of the that day's session. Teacher will provide noteworthy insight on how to navigate the ends and out of the multiplication tables 0-12, besides the traditional memorization. This will be the 1st have (weeks 1-4) of the worshop.

Once 0-12 has been explained, Weeks 5-8 will be a fun competition where students will be tested with the knowledge they have learned to master 0-12. Awesome prizes await students that reach certain milestones during the competition. In the end all students will be rewarded for their participation and encouraged continue practicing and practice makes perfect!

Starts: Jun 3, 2024  End: Aug 2, 2024            Break week: July 1st- 5th 

- Week 1: Intro to Multiplication/ 0, 1, 2's   - Week 2: 3's and 4's/ 5's and 6's

- Week 3: 7's and 8's/ 9's and 10's         - Week 4: 11's and 12's / Overview Comp into

- Week 5: Competition begins                   - Week 6-7: Competition

- Week 8: Competition / Last day celebration

We believe it takes a Village and our students will require practice outside of the sessions to succeed. Students will be sent home with free materials that will give them the opportunity to practice. Parents are STRONGLY encouraged to set time for their students to use the materials to prepare for the competition. These materials are not homework and will be graded. 

Course is 8 weeks long with following days and time available:

Mon/Wed 6:15pm-7:15pm        Tu/Thurs 6:15pm-7:15pm

Fees: $20 a week. bi-weekly payments, monthly, or entire session payment accepted. checks, cash, Zelle payments accepted.

What Students need: a writing utensil (pen or pencil) and a notebook.
